• Occupation: sniper in the Great War, 1914-1918, Europe. ⁵⁵ Robert was a sniper in the First World War. Part of the Royal Engineers. He was taken prisoner. A German couple hid him and wanted to keep him there! (I assume this must be before he was taken prisoner). He had a piece of shrapnel in his body as a souvenir of the war.
